Description

The whole flock showed up. 🀄

Nine hens, nine tiles, zero chill. This Mahjong Chickens design lines up a full grid of hens, each posing with her tile: the cool one in sunglasses claimed the green dragon (obviously), a round white hen guards the red dragon, the black hen took dots, the fluffy crested one has East, and the brown hen is simply pecking at North and seeing what happens. Somewhere in this grid is every player at your table — and one of them is you.

With its storybook vintage illustration style, this one's made for game night, mahjong club meetups, and anyone who lives at the intersection of chicken people and mahjong people — a more powerful overlap than it has any right to be.

Care Instructions

HOW TO KEEP YOUR NEW FAVORITE LOOKING FRESH

• Turn the shirt inside out before washing to help protect the printed design.
• Machine wash cold with similar colours.
• Use a mild detergent. Do not use bleach or fabric softener.
• Because this shirt is garment-dyed, some pigment may release during the first wash. Wash it separately or with similar colours.
• Hang drying is best. If using a dryer, tumble dry on low heat.
• Remove promptly from the dryer to help prevent wrinkles.
• If ironing is necessary, turn the shirt inside out and use low heat. Do not iron directly over the design.
• Do not dry clean.

A little care goes a long way—follow these steps to keep your shirt soft, comfortable and ready for whatever you’re into next.

A little about the person behind the shop

Hi, I’m Daniel, the person behind True North Explorer, a small, family-run shop.

Here, you’ll find cats with books, creatures with cozy hobbies, and playful designs celebrating the things people love.

The idea behind the shop is simple: the little things that make you happy deserve a place in your everyday life. Whether that’s getting lost in a book, gathering around a mahjong table, or spending an afternoon with your cat, I want you to find something here that makes you smile and say, “That’s me.”

And if you’re choosing a gift, I hope you find something that says, “I know you. I know what makes you smile.”

I’m building this shop one design and one customer at a time. Thank you for being part of it.

Daniel
