Description

I threw it. Then I needed it. 🎬🀄

Panel one: total confidence. The tile is useless, the flick is flawless, the smirk is earned. Panel two, three turns later: the hand has come together around the exact tile now sitting in the discard pile, and the horror is total. Every mahjong player has starred in this two-panel comic — the discard that becomes the missing piece, right on schedule, while the whole table watches it happen.

Made for game night, mahjong club meetups, and anyone who plays with great confidence and greater regret. Retro comic art, because this story is a classic and it never stops being retold.

Care Instructions

HOW TO KEEP YOUR NEW FAVORITE LOOKING FRESH

• Turn the shirt inside out before washing to help protect the printed design.
• Machine wash cold with similar colours.
• Use a mild detergent. Do not use bleach or fabric softener.
• Because this shirt is garment-dyed, some pigment may release during the first wash. Wash it separately or with similar colours.
• Hang drying is best. If using a dryer, tumble dry on low heat.
• Remove promptly from the dryer to help prevent wrinkles.
• If ironing is necessary, turn the shirt inside out and use low heat. Do not iron directly over the design.
• Do not dry clean.

A little care goes a long way—follow these steps to keep your shirt soft, comfortable and ready for whatever you’re into next.

A little about the person behind the shop

Hi, I’m Daniel, the person behind True North Explorer, a small, family-run shop.

Here, you’ll find cats with books, creatures with cozy hobbies, and playful designs celebrating the things people love.

The idea behind the shop is simple: the little things that make you happy deserve a place in your everyday life. Whether that’s getting lost in a book, gathering around a mahjong table, or spending an afternoon with your cat, I want you to find something here that makes you smile and say, “That’s me.”

And if you’re choosing a gift, I hope you find something that says, “I know you. I know what makes you smile.”

I’m building this shop one design and one customer at a time. Thank you for being part of it.

Daniel
